Shree Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram

The Mahamantra that Lord Rama gave it to Sita maiya when she was kept in Ashok Vatika by Demon Ravana.

This is a very strong mantra, as it gives power to the powerless to fight with the negativity that surround him in his daily life.

Shri chantaniya Gondavalekar Maharaj spread this mantra and told people to chant this mantra continuously. Without break, day and night, all the time, akhand nam smaran should go on which will change your lives completely.

The joy that you experience in chanting the name is like meeting the God himself. God and Nama are indivisible. You only chant his name and he is with you.

Ramayan is full of Rama's way how he led his life and what he did. If we can pick up one small thing from that and follow that through out our lives i think our life will be successful.

Rama has always been the image of love and sacrifice. The 'Purushotam' since he has set some rules that every person in the world needs to follow to live this life happily.

Jo Mangah Thakur Apne Te - Gurbani

This shabad of Gurbani is my all time favorite. The reason are many:

1. When i was a child this was the first shabad that i had learnt.
2. It has a fantastic meaning to it.
3. It has simple words to remember.
4. Everyone enjoys this shabad whenever i have sung it
5. It gives me celestial peace when i hear it or sing it.

The meaning of this shabad is as follows:

Jo mangeh Thakur apne te, soi soi deveh
Nanak das mukh te jo bole, iha uha sach hoveh

Chatur disa kino bal apna, sir upar kar dhareyo
Kirpa katakh avalokan kino, das ka dukh bidaryo

Harijan rakhe Guru Govind, rakhe Guru Govind
Kanth lae avguna gab mete, dyal purakh bakshind

The Lord gives whatever is asked from Him.
Whatever Nanak, the servant, speaks from H is mouth becomes true here and hereafter.

What ever you ask from your God he will give you by hook or by crook
But the only condition is that you have to be his disciple a very obedient follower.

He has shown his power in all the four directions
And he has proved no one is as great as Him
Therefore he can change the entire world to his tunes
to give peace to his disciple and remove all his distress

The true disciple is always protected by Him
He embraces, removes all the bad deeds,
He is a care taker of all

Pune - the Misal

Puneri Misal is the best food that we get in Pune. If you are in Pune do visit the famous Misal stall to have the Pune style  -chatpata, teekha Misal. It will make your day. This is to be had in breakfast.
We were very lucky to reach Pune from Mumbai, by 10 AM, perfect time for breakfast, and we had planned to have the Misal for breakfast.

You will not believe, Sunday morning 10 AM, when Pune is just waking up, the restaurant where we stopped to have Misal was full. We all were amazed to see this that we had to wait in a queue to get the place. After 15 minutes of waiting time we got the place to sit and the we had our favorite Puneri Misal.

The Misal was very spicy and just when i started having that , my eyes were red and ful of water. I could not stop crying. I was enjoying but at the same time i was not able to bear the spice in it

Therefore we ordered the lasi that we drank, that sufficed for our Misal. It was an experience in itself.

Great going huh!

Matheran - the toy train

This was one trip that i cant forget. It was a well planned trip.
We went in our Honda city till the base of Matheran, where we have to park all the cars, and then onwards its either the toy train or the horse we can go. else climb by foot. Here we decided to go in toy train as it would be fun, and believe me it was fun.
This train was going on at the speed of 20 km/hr and the fresh air of matheran seemed to talk to us slowly and softly in our ears. The sweet smell of the earth was so soothing that can be explained.
It took lot of time to reach the final destination, but at every turn there was something new to see and enjoy. Our train passed through dense jungles and huge forests, sometimes from the edge of the mountain where we could view a scenic waterfalls and the deep valleys.

Mahableshwar - The Hills and Points

Mahableshwar is full of hills, points. When i was in Mahableashwar i heard so many points that we cant cover it in one day.
From Lovers point to Suicide point all the points were available.
Another one was Table point, where the hill was naturally made as a plane ground like a table hence the name Table point.
We went there too.
The horse ride is another thing that i cannot forget. It was a fabulous thing to do in Mahableashwar
Then it was time for boat riding. This is one thing i enjoyed a lot. But it was a dangerous sport, so be careful if you are with kids or you are afraid of water.

In such a wonderful place i recall a poem written by me:

Long live long live my love with love a passion
No hatred no chaos nor any sort of detestation

With laughter and merry mind goes one
Thou every day passes in cheerful mood
With drums of delight and blissful bassoon
The harmonious harpsichord and fun filled flute

The vivacious violin and the gleeful guitar
Pleasant piano and the base voiced bass
The cheerful clarinet its sounds play at par
And the full set of percussion's give them applause

All these jovial buoyant instruments get together
To form an overjoyed and melodious orchestra
Where my love sings the songs of joyful weather
Like a love happy concert of an opera.

Khandala - Amrit Vela Ashram

From there we visited Khandala's famous Amrit Vela Ashram. This Ashram is built by Sindhi's and it has a very beautiful temple inside and the people can also come and stay there for getting a good rest in such a pious and the silent environment. There is a prayer meeting every morning and evening here and you can be in the blissful environment for the whole day. You can chant God's name, meditate and rejunivate yourself. The food served is pure authentic sindhi vegetarian food and you will surely love it.

Solar System of 7th Standard Geography

Oh Geography , it is the most boring subject, and then to teach that subject to someone is more tedious of a task. Then to make projects related to it. It takes lot of my time.
Solar system was the topic that i had to explain my child but the catch was , i had to limit myself to 7th standard. Good that was. Anyways i am not too much aware of Solar system, so 7 th standard limitation for me was better. I know i did had to stretch myself much.
But to my surprise my son knew more that i knew about all the solar system and its planets.
That made my job even more tougher. It is said to teach a person who does not know anything about that topic is much easier than to teach a person who knows it. Its simple guys, if you dont know anything about something, then what ever the teacher tells you you will say ok, but if you know something then you may ask questions.:)

Lonavla - the Chiki Place

When i had been to lonavla. It was a summer vacation of my son and that was certainly a great time to visit a hill station. We had been to lonavla earlier but this time it was the second time. We had hired a car and it was a 2 day trip. We started early in the morning and within 1 hour we were on the express way. We reached in hotel in 2 hours since we had started.
We visited many places. The first one we visited was Ryewood Park and Shivaji Udhyan. It was a great place for children. The garden and the shiva temple inside the park was great.
Lonavla lake was a wonderful experience too.
We were too tired and it was time for lunch. We had already settled in a restaurant to have lunch. Till then i whatsapp all the photos to my family. It is fun to use technology during vacation and travel. It also helps a lot.
Then we saw a chiki counter where we purchased some good chikis - they are the lonavla's favorite food.
We enjoyed eating them.
